After the Watts Atelier Friday Night Workshop, I took Jeff Watts' suggestion  and pulled out my toned paper sketchbook. Great for gouache studies.
This time, I chose a section from a painting by Greg Manchess, not only because it relates to the subjects I'm painting right now, but because I wanted to explore the shapes and edges he chose.
